BUILDING FUTURES > LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Friends: The San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF) was created to establish accessibility to information technology, increase computer literacy, and provide technical training and services to San Diego County residents. Since its founding in 1999, SDFF has contributed more than 15,000 computers, 17,000 hours of volunteer technical service, a technical intern program for at-risk youth and adults-in-transition, a girls’ technology training program, SDcommunities, and much more. The scope of the Foundation’s impact on the community, given its short history, is nothing short of extraordinary. Today, The San Diego Futures Foundation is taking our case for support to the San Diego community. After months of planning and input from clients and community leaders from across our region, we have launched the Building Futures Capital Campaign. The Campaign will enable us to fund the expansion of the Youth Technology Education Rewards Program and to seed the development of a youth-oriented web portal to enable community organizations across the San Diego community to participate in the program. The comprehensive project cost is approximately $100,000 for training, program and materials development, program implementation and web portal technical development. We invite you to become a part of the Building Futures Capital Campaign. The vision and plans outlined on this website will indeed become a reality. If you would like to help build San Diego County's bright future, please contact us at (619)269-1684 or megan@sdfutures.org.
Sincerely yours, Megan Graulich,
Barbara Nichols,
