1. Implement the Youth Technology Education Rewards Program at Four Community Organizations

In partnership with The Children’s Initiative, SDFF will select four organizations that provide services to youth. SDFF will implement the Youth Technology Education Rewards Program at each site. This support will enable the foundation to:

• Develop new program curriculum focused on community and civic issues

• Implement the program at four sites, including Board of Supervisors Districts 1,2,3 and 5.
  

• Conduct on-site instruction of community and civic issues curriculum

• Provide rewards for students achieving their program goals

• Conduct pre/post program skills assessment

• Develop a post program report

2. Develop Youth Technology Education Rewards Program Web Site

The creation of a youth-oriented web site is essential for the implementation and expansion of this program. The creation of the Youth Technology Education Rewards program web site will allow the foundation to:

• Provide a mechanism for presenting the program curriculum that would allow any organization interested in utilizing the program curriculum to do so

• Provide a mechanism with which to track point accumulation and order rewards

• Provide a mechanism with which to survey program participants and track skills progression

• Provide a mechanism with which to track participants registration information
