SDFF provides opportunities to use technology as a tool to enhance and change lives. Whether it’s developing job skills, building confidence, enhancing life skills, increasing organizational capacity, improving communications, expanding access, or promoting community development, technology helps individuals and organizations achieve their goals.

To that end, SDFF has donated more than 20,000 computers and 18,000 hours of technical support to San Diego nonprofits, community-based organizations, schools and families.

San Diego, CA – May 19, 2009 -- DONATION FROM LAS PATRONAS FUNDS A BIG, MEAN RECYCLING MACHINE (pdf) Thanks to a generous donation from Las Patronas, the San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF) is now able to collect large loads of e-waste to recycle in a socially responsible and earth-friendly manner. A $12,000 donation from Las Patronas helped SDFF to purchase a used Mitsubishi FH diesel truck, capable of hauling large amounts of outdated computers, monitors, TVs and other unwanted electronic equipment.
